University Campus Barnsley was opened in 2005 by the University of Huddersfield, and was taken over by Barnsley College in 2013.

The main campus is located within Barnsley Town Centre on Church Street, next to the main Town Hall.

Courses available include degrees in subjects from Construction to Music and Music Technology.  A range of full and part time Higher National Certificates and Diplomas are available from Animal Management to Engineering.
