Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost me to advertise?

The rates for studentpad are very favourable but change slightly around the country. You are not committing to our service by enquiring for prices and further info. Make sure that all fields are completed, using n/a where appropriate. This only needs to be done the first time you advertise. If you require any assistance please e-mail sales@studentpad.co.uk.

How do I register my property (ies)?

You can register either online by clicking here or by post. In order to register by post please request an advertising pack by e-mail stating which University you would like to advertise with. You will receive an advertisement form in which you fill in the relevant property and contact details and return it to the address provided. A member of staff will then input your property information and contact details into the database on your behalf.

How long does it be take before people can view my property on your web site?

It is dependent upon which University that you wish to advertise with. We would hope that adverts could be viewed within 24 hours of all of your documentation (including a cheque, copy of Corgi gas certificate, if relevant) being received by the appropriate office. If you have submitted your information over the Internet then you will have been instructed your next step i.e. How to pay, whether any safety certification is required and which address to send them to. Similarly, if you wish to submit your details by post you will be informed of the address within the pack.

Your property will be displayed as a full page advert detailing all of your properties' important features, and can include up to three photographs and a link to a location map. Your details are also sometimes displayed upon paper housing lists distributed to the students by the Universities' accommodation departments.
